We are expanding our Denture Department!

Exciting news for the month of July!  We are expanding our Denture Department!  In our continuing effort to meet increased volumes and to be responsive to our customers’ needs for same-day repair service, we are enlarging our Denture Department by adding to our staff as well as adding equipment.  Here at EMI, we pride ourselves on excellent workmanship and individual, personal attention to our clients.  Although we will continue to use courier services for pick up and deliveries, we will also be hiring our own delivery personnel to pick up cases and return them the same day.

In 1999, EMI joined forces with Argen and their Metal Department.  We were looking for more consistency in our castings and shading for our crowns. We soon found out that Argen’s metal is one of the most consistent metals in the dental lab industry. All their metals are ADA approved and come with Identalloy stickers of authenticity. Currently, we use Argeloy NP, Argelite 58P, DTX 46 (full cast semi-precious), and Argedent Euro to name a few.

During the purchase of our 3 Shade scanners and Rolland mills, we knew we were going to need top-of-the-line products to produce in our mills. Naturally, we went to Argen first for our product needs. They had everything we would need in a one-stop shop.

  • Esthetic Zirconia
  • Full Zirconia
  • Wax
  • PMMP Temps

After learning about their top-of-the-line milling products, we also found out about their 510K compliant CAD/CAM titanium abutments. We can now offer our customers a custom-milled titanium abutment designed by our highly-skilled technicians for an affordable price. The abutments are offered on all major implant platforms.

EMI leads the way with technology

At EMI, we understand the importance of keeping up with the technology of the times. We strive to use the most advanced technology available in order to meet our clients’ changing needs. Here are a few examples of how we achieve excellence through technology.

 Rolland Mill
In 2003, EMI purchased our first Rolland Mill DWX-50. The mill offers simultaneous machining and five-station automatic tool changer.  It can mill zirconia, PMMA, wax, and trinia with precision. This milling unit is one of the most reliable units available.  The DWX-50 supports a wide range of software and tools and is built on open technology, allowing for easy integration with any commercially available dental prosthetic production solution. Since then, we have purchased another Rolland to allow us to handle our increased order volume.

Ivoclar Vivadent Programat S1
A light-weight and compact sintering furnace.  This furnace is capable of processing single copings, full zirconia crowns, and zirconia frames, up to 16 units.  It’s the ultimate machine to handle all your sintering needs. It sinters single-tooth frameworks of zirconium oxide material in 75 minutes and zirconium bridge frameworks up to four units in 90 minutes as compared to 5 to 8 hours using conventional methods.

Biostar V
The most reliable computerized pressure molding denture machine on the market, it uses microprocessing electronics for the most accurate fitting dentures.  Biostar can also process split trays, night guards, and implant guides. The Biostar V has really helped our lab streamline our production, and greatly increase our customer satisfaction.
